Description

This is a very bright white strobe for RC models.

It operates from 12V or 3-cell LiPo battery. Stand-alone it produces a dual strobe flash every 2 seconds or it can be plugged into a spare channel on the RC receiver for control of on/off and selection of the flash type.

The strobe is designed to operate from a 3-cell Lipo battery or similar battery providing 11V to 12.6V. This provides best strobe output and maximum LED life. Average power consumption is quite low and has little effect when connected to the flight battery.

It can operate from a 4-cell LiPo but must be connected to the balance connector to use only the lower 3 cells – connect 0V common to the black wire and +Ve to the 3rd wire, not the end wire.

Without RC control, the strobe provides a dual flash at a 2 second interval or rate. With RC control the strobe can be off, provide a dual flash or a single flash at a faster 1-second interval.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the Blue wire must connect to the -Ve (black) of the battery, main lead or balance connector. Incorrect connection could cause damage.

The Red wire is the +Ve and the blue wire is -Ve or 0V common. These wires supply the LED power from the LiPo battery.
