I have built a mount for the recently rewired FPV receivers. It’s made out of pine, glued, screwed and painted. It mounts directly to the quick release on the small tripod. See this post for details of the RC305 receiver mods.
A brief description of a small 2.4G fpv system I built about 3 years ago. It uses Airwave modules and runs off 12V or a 3-cell LiPo. The transmitter will operate from a 2-cell Lipo.
