FPV Tracker on 2S Lipo – a question from Dave

Question:

Tracker versionsI just wanted to know the operating voltage for the FPV RC BEACON, when its signal lead is connected to a RC receiver running directly on a 2S Lipo, which can reach 8.4V when freshly charged. Maybe a glider install.

Answer:

The FPV tracker does monitor the power and draw a very small current form the power (red wire). Worst case at full charge on the battery, about 0.5mA.
